A few years ago I have written a little program to back up other people’s blogs. That was after I noticed that spending an hour plus per day on Tumblr wasn’t the most healthiest behavior. I digress. The mechanism isn’t sophisticated, just downloads the blog posts with one script and another examines each post and downloads the highest available image (video too, different story).
The interesting thing is, that even if a blogger vanishes, the images are still available.
As for the amount, I stopped worrying after 100GB, it’s way more than that. As far as I can tell, unique files.
And the program is still running. Six days to go.
transpiral asked: also, what do YOU get out of binding someone? does it make you feel secure that they are no threat to your masculinity? your ability to fuck them? a kind of roleplay that allows you to relax since they're not going to leave you at will? something that fulfills a revenge fantasy against someone else? maybe you just get off on seeing someone made helpless? all speculation. i've bound others who wanted it. only now do i wonder why they wanted it. "subspace" apparently--enjoying being vulnerable.

transpiral asked: your request for comments is exactly my own question--what does anyone get from being tied up? and what do you WANT them to do for you once they're immobilized? not much, i reckon. maybe make noise? struggle uselessly upon request? i've never been bound. i fail to see the point. like, for a rollercoaster, sure. or as a passenger in a jet upon takeoff. safety. near as i can guess, you just have to be wired to like it. but i'm just speculating. maybe it's a universal delight i just have to try.
Didn’t see this until now: The question was not THAT general. I just felt like a service top, to make bottoms happy, and myself doing all the work. In essence, what pleasure do I get in exchange of fulfilling a scripted laundry-list scene?
